EMOTIONS of the Chakra ( Sacral)
Emotions = water= cups in Tarot. IN the Tarot, cups represent emotions and thus relationships, life and the nature of life. Many people close to nature usually are intuitive and psychic. Although cups are often a significator of seeking a love in life, it can stand for emotional extremes such as elation, over –indulgence of food, drink or drugs. IT can mean Mania and depression or emotional bliss. The + side is that people of the water ( sacraL) chakra are so creative and are often poets and musicians. They’ re often gifted healers and excel in medicine. They are usually, as stated, empathic and psychic or at least intuitive. They are the creative beings that must be balanced to keep from falling into a hole of saddens or self pity. They need to get away or distance themselves from people from time to time to heal and re-group their strength.
Their Arch Angel is Gabriele .
The astrology sign that are water signs are Scorpio, Pisces, Cancer. Cancer is the ultimate water ( Sacral) sign) . Their mantra is that of this affirmation of the Sacral chakra; “ I believe”. Scorpio is “ I create” and Pisces, ever the optimist, “ I believe.” Each sign needs to be aware, and cannot say it enough, that they need to meditate and spend time away from people.

G.H.O.S.T.T. Hunt Feb of 2008
Yeah, I know we are talking about some months here, but we did go G.H.O.S.T.T. hunting at G- Street park, thanks to the tip we got from HIDDEN OHIO MAP AND GUIDE from Craig Cartography you can get from Borders Book stores. I got mine from one of Sherri Brak- Recco's tours with the wonderful Haunted Heartland of Ohio. ( comment on this article if you want her web link) .
G.H.O.S.T.T. stands for Garner Haunting Observational Scientific Tactical Team. It was started by my brother and I way back in the early '80's . Since he moved to California we rarely get to hook up, but on that cold February night, my son, his girlfriend and I went to G-Street park to investigate the paranormal.
According to the map, this is a vortex area created when a rail road spike was pulled out of the earth. There is a rail road near that area. All Lorainites are never far from trains as Ohio was once the Rail way capital of the east.
Having lived near that area for a good many years, imagine our surprise when I read that . We needed to check that out. The best time was a cold Saturday night.
The first thing any good ghost hunter does is check out the map, read the history, check out the equipment and eat pizza. Then we took our hike .
You can see by the pictures we found nothing. Our EVP showed nothing. Val is a shamanic medium. She thought she was picking up energy, but ruled out any psychic activity and felt it was more residue from the energy of people and children and their play.
John , a sifu, played tai chi in order to see if we could attract any weaken entity to us to see if we could get an interaction. Either it was too cold for any paranormal interaction or the vortex was closed, but we had no evidence . To be fair, we could only stay out for 45 minutes as it was bitter. In fact, that is the main thing I remember. So, we went back home and ate cupcakes.
We have not gone back this summer as we were on other hunts, job changes and the safety factor of going into that neighborhood at late night.
We would welcome anyone in that area who has any experiences in that park.

Enhancing the Sacral Chakra ( Swadhisthana)
The Sacral chakra , or Dantien, is the power source of creative energy. In martial arts, it provides the place of chi energy flow for everything from kicks to a still place for meditation.
This is a potent chakra. As we said in the previous blog, the chakra manages the hips, bladder and kidneys et al. In Chinese Qi qong and TCM the kidney is the source of the vital chi which is the energy inherited from your parents. This is the reserve that is used when the body is under stress.
Looking at the last blog, we introduced the sacral chakra and if you found yourself attracted to all that information, this may be your favorite or most used power source.
Are you emotional , enthusiastic? Are you sensual? Is your idea of an ideal vacation to spend time in nature as along as there is a spa around? Do you go ‘camping’ at one of the fine state park hotels?
Then this might be your chakra energy source.
How to enhance and replenish it?
Again we go back to our tried and true enhancements: color, gem energy, scent and affirming meditation. OF course, going to an energy healer such as a reiki master or an acupuncturist is very helpful and healing. For those who are still looking for these masters or just don’t have the time to fit in a healing session, here are some ways of enhancing the chakra.
This chakra’s color is orange, so wear this as a power color ( it is quite in vogue) .
Use the scents of ylang-ylang, gardenia and sandalwood. Use perfume , candles or the flowers themselves to enhance and inspire that chakra.
Jewelry and gem stones should contain orange such as orange carnelian, orange coral. Gold enhances the chakra while the moonstone cleanse.

Sacral or Dantein Chakra
This is the 2nd chakra of the body. This is the seat of creativity and sexual potency. Creativity always is best when balanced by the Spiritual. In Tai Chi, Qi Qong and Kungfu, this is the source of energy where one pulls the energy to make kicks and punches. In tai chi, and zen meditation, this is the seat of awareness and inner energy; of inner knowing.
Its element is water and its sense if taste. ( Think of it as one tasting the waters of emotional life). It controls the organs located in the pelvis region such as the sex organs & their fluid potency, the hips, and the kidneys and bladder. It balances the yin/yang ( female/male) energies. In Traditional Chinese medicine ( TCM) the kidneys are the seat of vital energy, meaning that this is where you get your inherited resilience and life energies. This is a vital organ to support especially for men and the maintenance of potency as the get older.
The quality of the Sacral chakra is the basic primal feelings . This chakra is sensuous, desiring, desirable and sexual. It is the basis of the feeling of pleasure. Being basic, it is attuned with nature and nature's power to be creative and expressive. Personalities of this sort welcome sexual expressions and procreation. They take pleasure in relationships and are enthusiastic.
The color orange is assigned to this chakra. Thus the gem stones that enhance and support this area can be orange carnelian and coral. Gold calcite will enhance it and moonstone will cleanse .
Scents that apply to this chakra are Ylang-Ylang, sandalwood and gardenia. No surprise these are water loving plants. This is a water chakra.

Card of the Day 7/7/08
I remember when 7/7/07 was considered either lucky or lucky depending on your spiritual point of view. People used that as a lottery number hoping for a win. I don't recall any big jack pots, however.
So what does Tarot have in store for today, 7/7/08?
Seven is a number signifying mastery and control. The irony here is that to gain true mastery, one needs to let go of the need to control and thus gain Enlightenment. So true, yet so difficult. The Empress is showing us the way to meditate on that delicate balance of control and Enlightenment. She suggests we think of our projects and work as children or young plants that need nurturing , but not smothering. Too much water kills a plant, too. Tend your issues with a mom's eye view. Watch over special needs to day , but not so much as to allow your self to be obsessed. A good mom knows when to back off.
Make some cookies, too, while you're at it. If my sister in law is reading this, my brother will love me.

the Element is Earth
As we discussed in the Root chakra, the element is Earth. SO what does Tarot say?
First, allow me to remind you that Tarot is a meditation in which one asks the Universe to show the questioner the energies available ( and we ask for the highest , blessed energies) that are present and can be used to work to our advantage for a desired outcome. We remember that we are the Masters of our Souls , the Captains of our Destinies. We can pick and chose what will work for us at all times. Tarot will show what is available.
Earth element is seen in astrology. Virgo ( August 21- Sept 21), Taurus ( April 21- may 21) and Capricorn ( Dec 21- Jan 21) are all Earth element signs. They are the manifestors; the shakers and the movers. They make it happen and if it don't work they kick it to the side. IF they can't use it , they kick it to the side. It they can't analyze a purpose for it , they kick it to the side. They , therefore , have great legs.
Seriously, Virgos analyse everything to death in a way to see what will serve them for their purpose. Taurus, the ultimate Earth element is one who is the personification of the 'I HAVE' mantra. Capricorns use things to get their manifestations accomplished. They all like the material world and are concerned for their health, esp bone and joints.
Earth elements in the Tarot = PENTACLES! This is the earth sign. They are the manifestors and the health nuts. The Magican and the hypochondriac. They would rather stay at home for their vacation or go on day trips ( saves money). They may smoke, then make everyone crazy with their fear of illness and then stop suddenly while asking if they should work out 10 times a week.
For 6/11/o8: Remember, in numerology, 11 is the number of moral courage and insight. So we asked Tarot want Highest, Blessed energies would be needed or need to be manifested for the 11th. We got the Reverse of 6 of cups.
Here we have a reversed picture of 2 children gazing at each other over 6 cups filled with lilies.
6= Harmony and balance. Lilies represent long life . Children are usually our past, our innocence. This the the " good old days ' card reversed. To paraphrase Billy Joel, " the good old days weren't all that good and tomorrow ain't as bad as it seems." IF you had a hard child hood, it is time to manifest your destiny and you can do it. Avoid past relatives or 'old friends' who bring you down. IT is now time for you to move forward. QUITE CLINGING TO THE PAST. It won't serve. Let go of the tired old 'dad never said he loved me' as an excuse not to manifest your destiny!! Avoid the past..make today HAPPEN. Go forward and be not afraid!!
